What we need from you

To undertake the CSH assessment, we would also carry out the SAP assessment because they are so intrinsically connected now that having another professional undertake the SAP will merely add management time to liaise with them. The CSH project is a basic check of compliance of stating the intention to do something at the design stage and then demonstrating that it’s been done at the construction stage.

Many elements will therefore require a signed letter of intent from the developer, which is then backed up by a visual inspection by the code assessor at the post construction stage.  Inclusion in drawings of certain features is essential, so we urge you to contact us at the earliest possible opportunity so we can contribute our expertise alongside your architect and you to adopt the elements identified to achieve your required Code level.

Some elements will require additional professional services, such as ecologists, security specialists, daylighting specialists, environmental specialists, etc. We can put you in touch with suitably qualified companies who can be engaged on the project as required depending on elements being targeted. You will also need a Water Efficiency Calculation for each house, which we can do for you too.
